Is there a cost to attend the SIRD?  What expenses are not covered for the SIRD?

Answer:

For all SCRM courses and the SIRD costs of tuition, housing, and meals are covered by grants from NSF. In addition, students receive free copies of all software used for instruction. The cost of transportation to the site is the responsibility of participants.
